The Cani-Venture Dog-Powered Games is a one-of-a-kind event designed to bring together dog-powered sports, local communities, and newcomers in a way that’s never been done before.
From canicross and bikejoring to dryland mushing and interactive experiences, this event creates a space where people can compete, learn, and try dog-powered sports—all in one place.
Whether you’re an experienced competitor, part of a local club, or simply curious about getting started, this event is built for you. Crafted to elevate what matters most.

What you can do at the games
Canicross Races
Hit the trails with your dog in this fast-growing sport where runners and dogs work together as a team. You can walk or run 4 or 8 miles on a hilly trail that you and your dog will love.
Bikejoring Races
Experience the speed and excitement of biking with your dog. Compete on a one mile track to see if you can get the best time.
Demos
Demos in dog-powered sports that will help you get started and leave you ready for more.
Dryland Mushing (Carting & Rig Racing)
See the power and teamwork of dogs in action in dryland mushing-style races and demos.
Try It Zones
Try out the dog-powered sports and get a feel for for the gear to help set you up for success.
Dirty Dog Obstacle Challenge
A fun, interactive obstacle course designed for dogs and their people. This is a 5k run with 25 obstacles.
Connect

Set in a beautiful outdoor setting ideal for trails, racing, and community gathering, the Dog-Powered Games is designed to create an immersive experience for both participants and spectators.
Set at the beautiful Lake Geneva Zipline Adventures and House of Music right across the street from each other.
Accomodations & Ammenities
Lake Geneva is the perfect place to turn this into a full weekend experience. With beautiful scenery, tons of dog-friendly hotels, and plenty to do around town, you and your dog will have no shortage of ways to enjoy your time here. We’ll also have shuttle service available from select hotels to make getting to the event easy.
