The CaniVenture Community Campout is a weekend designed for people and dogs who love the outdoors and want to connect with a community of like-minded adventurers. Whether you're an experienced camper or pitching a tent for the first time, this relaxed and welcoming weekend offers opportunities to explore, learn, and create lasting memories alongside your canine companion.
Throughout the weekend, participants will enjoy a variety of guided activities that may include hiking, canicross, yoga, outdoor skills, group adventures, educational discussions, and other dog-friendly experiences tailored to the location and season.
Just as important as the activities are the moments in between—sharing stories around the campfire, connecting with fellow dog lovers, and building friendships with people who share your passion for exploring with their dogs.
Weekend registration includes:
• Campsite reservation
• Guided group activities and adventures
• Campfire gatherings and social events
• Community potluck dinner
• Trip coordination and support
Participants are responsible for providing their own:
• Camping gear and supplies
• Meals, snacks, and beverages
• Dog food, equipment, and personal items
• Transportation to and from the event
To help create a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, CaniVenture follows a strict leash and no-greet policy throughout the weekend. Dogs must remain leashed at all times and participants are expected to maintain appropriate space between dogs, even if they are friendly and social. These guidelines help ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the experience, including dogs who may prefer a little extra space.
