A League For Every Pace
The MCCX Fall League adds a little friendly competition, extra challenges and plenty of reasons to keep showing up throughout the season.
League participation is completely optional, and our regular Wednesday and Saturday MCCX meetups remain free and open to everyone.
League participants will earn raffle tickets, take on seasonal challenges, compete for prizes and recognition, and work toward an end-of-season celebration — without changing the supportive, no-one-left-behind atmosphere of our regular MCCX runs.
You don't have to be fast. You don't have to be an experienced canicross team. You just have to be ready to get outside and play along.
Fall League Registration
MCCX Members: $35
Nonmembers: $50
Your league registration covers the full Fall League season and participation in league challenges and activities.
How It Works
Continue coming to MCCX runs just like you normally would. League participants will have additional opportunities to earn raffle tickets, complete challenges, compete in special activities and work toward league accomplishments throughout the season.
Some challenges reward speed. Others reward consistency, improvement, skills — or just a little bit of luck.
RAFFLE TICKETS FOR PARTICIPATION
Show up and it counts.
League participants earn a raffle ticket each time they participate in an eligible MCCX run during the Fall League.
The more you participate, the more tickets you collect for drawings and prizes at our end-of-season party.
CONSISTENCY STREAK
Can you keep your streak going?
Complete the designated number of consecutive eligible MCCX runs to earn league recognition and/or a prize.
We'll announce the official streak goal with the Fall League schedule.
TIMED TRIALS & SKILLS DAY
Our regular MCCX runs aren't races. We run together, accommodate different paces and don't encourage anyone to leave slower participants behind. Timed Trials are different. This is your opportunity to see what you and your dog can do when you're running one mile on the clock. The fastest dog-and-handler team earns bragging rights, recognition and a prize.
Every MCCX participant can be part of the timed trials, but only league members are eligible for prizes and participation in the skills competition.

PREDICTION RUN
How well do you know your own pace?
Before the run, league participants predict exactly how long they think it will take them to complete the route. Then the watches come off.
One person will keep the official time. The participant who finishes closest to their predicted time wins.
Fastest doesn't matter. Knowing yourself and your team does.
TRAIL COLLECTOR CHALLENGE (2027 League)
How many MCCX trails can you collect this fall?
We'll select a variety of trails and routes for league participants to complete during the season, including opportunities to explore beyond our usual routes.
Complete the collection and earn league recognition.
Trail Collector details and eligible trails will be announced.
POKER RUN CHALLENGE
No poker face required.
During a designated series of league runs, participating in an eligible run earns you a playing card.
Collect your cards throughout the series and see what kind of hand you build.
Best poker hand at the end of the challenge wins.
This one isn't about speed or skill — sometimes you just need a little luck.
PRIZES, GIVEAWAYS & SURPRISES
We'll have opportunities for prizes and giveaways throughout the Fall League, with additional drawings and recognition at the end of the season.
Prizes may come from MCCX, CaniVenture, local sponsors and participating businesses as partnerships develop.
And because not everything needs to be announced ahead of time, don't be surprised if we throw in a few bonus opportunities along the way.
END OF SEASON CELEBRATION
We'll wrap up the season by getting everyone together to celebrate what we've accomplished.

NOTE: The end-of-season party isn't just for League participants. It will be an MCCX community celebration open to our regular participants as well, with opportunities to recognize accomplishments and contributions from throughout MCCX — not just League Play.

The Fall League isn't about changing what MCCX is.
Our regular runs will continue to be cooperative group runs where different abilities are welcome and we don't leave slower participants behind.
Instead, the League gives us designated opportunities to compete when we want to compete, work toward personal goals, practice our skills, try new things and have some fun with the people and dogs we spend our weekends running alongside.
